All Year Beer
Our brewing philosophy at Stone & Wood is based on brewing beer that makes the most of the ingredients available today. Beer that simply lets the flavours and aromas of the ingredients shine through by keeping the processes to a minimum. Beer that is simply good to drink.
Our beers are an expression of the Stone & Wood approach to life of trying to take things slow and keeping it simple. Our portfolio is simple; we have our core family Pacific Ale, Green Coast, Jasper Ale and Garden Ale. We have our Beers From Our Backyard range which currently includes Cloud Catcher and we have our Seasonal's and Pilot Batch. Of course, our all malt beers are brewed with no additives and no preservatives. The way it should be.

The Full StoryAfter being dry hopped at the end of fermentation, our Pacific Ale is then drawn straight from the storage tank at the brewery into kegs and bottles.
Drawing it from the tank and straight into a keg or bottle without filtering means that the beer can be enjoyed at the pub or at home in the same condition as it is when we try it from the tank at the brewery … simply fresh.
Why don’t we filter our Pacific Ale?
Filtering beer removes the remaining yeast which causes the beer to look cloudy; unfortunately a lot of the flavour is also removed by the filter.
What about the yeast in the bottom of the bottle?
We leave the yeast in Pacific Ale because we believe it adds something special to the flavour of the beer. The yeast drops to the bottom of the bottle over time so we recommend you give the bottle a gentle roll or tip it upside down before opening it to rouse the yeast and mix it up.

Green Coast Lager
Soft clean finish...
Green Coast has a light amber colour with a natural yeast cloud, and a flavour that strikes a balance between its subtle hop aroma and full malt palate, finishing soft and clean. Something so fine, yet so complex requires quality ingredients, attention to detail and finesse to produce.Explore

The Full StoryThe best grain adds both softness to the palate and a full-bodied malt characters, whilst the noble hops provide the subtlety and harmony that we were looking for. It takes time to get it right, and like the good things in life, it just can’t be rushed… so we take it slow.
Taking a fresh approach to brewing handcrafted beer in the Northern Rivers of NSW, one of the greatest places on Earth. Green Coast is influenced by the surrounding green hills that roll down to meet the Pacific Ocean.
